Artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the way we create and experience art. With the advent of deep learning algorithms, AI is now capable of generating images that are indistinguishable from those created by humans. This opens up new avenues for artistic expression and creativity, and allows artists to experiment with new styles, forms, and themes.

Midjourney is a powerful AI tool that makes it easy to generate high-quality AI art. In this blog post, we’ll explore the exciting world of AI art and demonstrate how you can use Midjourney to create beautiful, soft, warm, and loving images for Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just getting started, you’ll find this blog post to be an engaging and informative guide to generating Valentine’s Day-related AI art with Midjourney.

In this blog post, we’ll explore the exciting world of AI art and demonstrate how you can use Midjourney to create beautiful loving images for Valentine’s Day.

Here are some prompt example I got by asking another AI (ChatGPT) to give me some prompt suggestions for AI Art creation.

  1. A close-up of a heart-shaped rose
  2. A silhouette of two people holding hands in front of a sunset
  3. A bouquet of colorful flowers arranged in the shape of a heart
  4. A tender kiss between two lovers under a blanket of stars
  5. A heart-shaped balloon floating against a pastel sky
  6. A heart-shaped wreath made of flowers and leaves
  7. A close-up of a couple hugging in a field of flowers
  8. A scene of a couple walking hand-in-hand in a park at sunset
  9. A heart-shaped candlelit dinner for two
  10. A couple gazing into each other’s eyes while sitting on a bench surrounded by nature.

In order to get started once you have joined Midjourney Discord you can simply use /imagine <followed by your prompt>. Refer to this detailed post to get started, however if you already have access to Midjourney then experiment with these prompts.

Below are series of example images that you can create and of course I encourage you to use these, modify them to create your own unique version of your prompt. Being an Australian I had to start with Koalas as they are the cutest thing on this planet but you can try other animals like cats, dogs etc.

Move to more creative styles by adding “inspired by <your favourite artist>” or not. We have a collection of examples on how Midjourney recognises various artists in this post Artist Styles on Midjourney v4. I particularly like how Christoffer Relander style uses double exposure technique to create these heart shaped couple images. Silhouettes are another great way to create some cool images.

Of course, no valentine is complete without flowers so you can generate some beautiful roses, bouquet or wreath in shape of heart.

Illustrations can be used on cards or e-cards for this special occasion and Midjourney seems to handle all preferences by default. Most of my examples were created in square orientation but you can also create them in portrait orientation by adding a parameter for aspect ration: –ar width:height for example –ar 2:3 will result in portrait vertical image while –ar 3:2 will give you more traditional landscape. You can also use other ratios like 16:9, which is the ratio of the title image of this post.
